Contemplative Prayer Group begins April 15

Contemplative Prayer.

We will gather Monday evenings in the Sanctuary from 7:00-8:00 p.m. for a quiet time of prayer. Each week, we will begin with some calming activities to get us centered. Then we will explore a different prayer practice from our Christian tradition. Each one focuses on a scripture passage from the Easter season. Some of these practices are ancient, some are new; all will draw you closer to God’s nourishing presence.

Discovering God’s Vision for Your Life:
You and Your Spiritual Gifts.

Each Christian has received certain gifts to be used in building up the body of Christ. Christians are called to use their gifts in service to their congregations and communities. In this way, they act as Jesus’ hands and feet in the world, serving others by following Christ’s
example.

Come and discover your spiritual gifts, and learn how God wants to help you become a servant of Christ.

2013 PW Annual Rummage Sale

2013 PW Annual Rummage Sale
Friday, June 7 and Saturday, June 8
We will receive donations Monday, June 3 through Wednesday, June 5 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Be part of the fun and fellowship by volunteering to sort and/or price items (Monday-Wednesday); to be cashiers or attendants for Friday and Saturday; and/or to bake goodies (cookies and cupcakes) for sale Friday and Saturday mornings.

Needed: Vehicles and strong arms to transport small pieces of furniture donated to the church. This will be our major Mission fundraiser for the year.

Knitting Classes

Thursday mornings from 10:00 - 11:30 am.

Deacons have given Prayer Shawls to people in crisis as a symbol of our prayers for comfort. We're holding weekly knitting classes which we hope will help provide more shawls for this meaningful ministry. Come join this fun class!
