Our Missions
Our Missions include the following:

 |
Military Outreach
Ministry - M.O.M. is a vital part of the outreach ministry here
at Grace. The M.O.M. committee is a major mission of the Mariners,
and also receives monetary donations from congregation members. Each
week the committee delivers donations of household and kitchen goods
to Camp Pendleton to be used by young Marine families. This is an
excellent way to say "Thank You" to those who are making sacrifices
for us all. |

Support our
Servicemen/Women - Our SOS mission began in September, 2008,
supplying care packages to deployed members of the Armed Forces. The
boxes consisted of magazines, puzzle books, drink mixes, granola
bars, soaps, handmade scarves and other hygiene items with personal
cards and letters provided by church members and community
resources. The men and women do not have to be members of our
church. Your participation by giving, writing letters, sending
cards, attending packing parties, and monetary donations for
shipping are greatly appreciated. SALUTE to all members of the Armed
Forces! |

Temecula & Murrieta Pantries
- We support the two pantries both monetary and with food and
clothing drives. |
|
 |
Tecate Mission - Your
cancelled stamps are sent to an organization in San Diego that sells
them to stamp dealers, with the proceeds going to support the Tecate
Mission. We also have Mission teams that make the trip to Tecate
Mexico several times a year to work on the facilities. |

Ronald McDonald House -
The pull-tabs from aluminum cans are collected and given to Ronald
McDonald House at Loma Linda Hospital. |

Menaul School - The
UPC codes from Campbell Soup labels go in support of the Menaul

Christmas Shoe Box (Samaritan's Purse)
- We collect decorated shoeboxes filled with small toys,
clothes, school supplies and personal care items. These are then
sent to Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child Shoebox
Ministry. We also send volunteers to the main collection center in
Santa Ana to prepare the boxes for shipment. |

Angel Tree Prison Ministry -
An estimated
1.7 million children in the United States currently have a father or
mother behind prison bars. Angel Tree works by connecting parents in
prison with their children through the delivery of Christmas gifts.
Angel Tree provides church coordinators with a list of children to
be served by our congregation. The coordinators contact the families
of the children and arrange what gifts are to be purchased, and when
they can be delivered. Grace Presbyterian Church has ministered to
an average 50 children a year. This program usually begins in
November when names are selected by members and gifts are purchased
for the children. Once all the gifts have been purchased and
wrapped, the gifts are delivered directly to the families' homes.
Along with the gifts, volunteers share the good news of Jesus Christ
with the children and their families. According to Sheri Holt, Angel
Tree Ministry Coordinator, "Grace Presbyterian Church has often
delivered presents to children who otherwise would have received
nothing or very little for Christmas." Angel Tree is a ministry that
reaches out to the children of inmates and their families with the
love of Christ. Grace Presbyterian Church seeks to transform the
lives of these families and to reconcile them to their Heavenly
Father and each other. |
